ACTIVE KEY AK-980 USB MAGENTIC STRIPE READER

The Active Key AK-980 Magnetic Stripe Reader Series is the ideal solution for adding MSR capabilities to existing systems. With a robust design featuring high reliable components the Active Key MSR provides excellent functionality, ideal even for heavy use applications.

Featuring an MSR head with 500 000 read cycles with metal bottom at the MSR slot. The MSR code transmission functions via key stroke emulation. And with the Active Key AK-980 MSR there is no need for any special software, allowing full use of the keyboard with all operating systems.

The Active Key USB MSR's storage of all settings and programmed headers, separators and suffixes are done in the reader and do not require any permanent software on the computer. Completed with programmable start and end sentinels as well as reading sequence, with GUI software for easy programming.
